1.  Comics Lounge – Wed nights: $30 in total = show only. Laugh yourself silly with some underground comic talent.

 

2.  Hire a Rowboat – Studley Park Boat House – http://www.studleyparkboathouse.com.au/ Make sure its a nice warm day, pack a picnic lunch with drinks. Don’t fall in!

 

3.  Rockpool Bar and Grill – $15 Wagyu Burgers… AMAZING!!! Fine dining and cheap as chips! I highly recommend this one!

 

4.  Monday Bingo at Candy Bar in Greville Street… piss yourself laughing with Drag Duo Slash Darling and Vicky Vegas.

 

5.  Shanghai Villiage – Chinatown… Amazing dumplings! Eat like kings for less than $30!!! 112 -114 Little Bourke Street, CBD. A cheap and cheerful delight.

 

6.  Hedge Maze in Healesville… $30 gets you maze and minigolf for 2! Head there when the weather is warm, get frisky behind the hedges but don’t get caught!

 

7.  Roof-top Cinema… (This one breaks the budget a little – by about $8 over but it’s worth it!) Out-door cinema in the heart of the city, on Swanston Street.) Book early guys, when the weather is nice this place is packed out! Definitely a Melbourne popular delight.

 

8.  Kikki.K stationary has invented these great Love Conversation Starters. Sounds corny??? Well it did for me in the beginning, and so it surprised me enough to mention it. It’s usually the least expected ideas that are the winners. This is a good one for Valentine’s… grab the love conversations starters, a picnic rug, some wine with cheese and dips. The conversation starters will give you plenty to talk about and learn about each other. You can choose to pass questions that are too random or will lead you to hot water but trust me, this kicks butt over the expensive dinner on Valentines and lack of conversation on valentines!

 

9.  $4 pizza at Lucky Coq or Bimbo’s Deluxe 7pm – 11pm Sunday to Thursday.

 

10. Weekend City Breakfast… Try the European on Spring Street – when you got sun in the morning, this is definitely the place you want to be… the sun will be shinning right on you and your partner. Take your sunnies and sit outside, IF you can find a seat??? It’s a popular hangout, most likely you’ll run into me…
